Horus Heresy Event Bracknell - Nuclear War Competitive Heresy- Saturday 5th April

The Heresy has reached a Nuclear point where all out war and destruction is the only option. This is a competitive heresy Tournament event

• Ruleset: Warhammer Horus Heresy Edition

• Event Date: Saturday 5th April

• Location: Cryptic Cabin, Moss End Garden Village, Warfield, RG42 6EJ

• Number of Rounds: 3

• Roster: 2500 Points for all forces

• 5 turn games

List restrictions:-

• No allies only 1 main force is allowed-
•  Rule of 3 - you can only select 3 of any unit type e.g Tactical squads or Rapier Squads are allowed within your list but you can max out these squads if you wish to
• 4 dreadnoughts or armigers per list in any combination-
• cap of 2 Thanatars per list- All named Characters are allowed within this event

Event schedule:

• • Doors Open: 9:00am
  • Mission Briefing and Event Introduction: 9:30. Players must arrive by this point.
  • Round 1: 9:30am-12:00pm: 
  • Lunch: 12:00pm-12:30pm
  • Round 2  :12:30pm - 3:00pm: 
  • Break: 3:00pm-3:15pm
  • Round 3: 3:15pm - 5:45 pm
  • Close at 6pm

Certificates  

• • Overall Champion - I know my Heresy books well award
  • Favourite Player - I am a friendly nerd but I suck at rolling dice
  • Best Painted - I drink paint water and have read all the lore
  • Most Tank kills
  • Most HQ kills

Missions:

• Missions will be revealed on the day and will cover the main 3 scoring systems - objectives, kill points and board control. Lists including line is heavily encouraged.

Pairings

• As it is a tournament it will be based on Swiss pairings and loyalist may play loyalist or vice versa for traitor. You will be counted as facing the opposite of what your force is for army benefit.

Equipment Requirement:

• Attendees are expected to bring all the models they need, dice,  tape measure , 6 objective markers and any relevant publications, such as the rulebook and your army specific book.
• Armies must be fully painted
•  Terrain will be provided by the store.
