The Alliance to Restore the Republic were the last, best hope for freedom during the darkest days of the Galactic Empire. Never able to meet the Empire in open battle, the Rebels relied on sabotage, hit-and-run strikes, and daring blockade runs to keep the flame burning against the darkness. From Lothal, to Scarif, to Yavin, to Hoth, to Endor, the Rebel Alliance struck out at the Empire again and again, their commandos and crack fighter pilots overcoming the most impossible odds, until ultimate victory was finally achieved in the skies over Jakku and a New Republic was proclaimed.
