Product Description:
The Quatl is a majestic and terrifying flying beast that soars above the Wastelands of the W’adrhŭn territories, capturing the imagination of the tribe. Known for its speed and predatory nature, the Quatl is a formidable asset on the battlefield, though domesticating and bonding with one of these creatures is a dangerous and difficult process. The beast imprints on the first living being it sees as its "mother," making it difficult to tame, and many have fallen victim to these magnificent but dangerous creatures. Once the secret of imprinting was uncovered, the W’adrhŭn began to mount Quatls, using their incredible speed and harpoons to strike from above. This set includes 1 plastic Quatl miniature with crew, 1 flying support stand, 2 Command Cards, and assembly instructions. It also provides alternate neck/heads and 2 possible riders, including the Winglord Predator, to offer versatility in how you display and use your Quatl.
How the Quatl Plays:
The Quatl serves as the long-range operator for the W’adrhŭn, much like a bird of prey circling the battlefield in search of isolated enemies or objectives. The Quatl is perfect for stalking enemies and striking when the time is right, whether it’s finishing off engaged opponents, isolated ranged regiments, or denying enemy control of an Objective Zone. Its speed allows it to swoop in, harpoon its target, and cause devastating impact damage. Those who survive the initial strike are often pulled to their doom as the Quatl soars back into the skies.
The Quatl is ideal for players who want to take advantage of its mobility and precision to disrupt enemy lines and control key areas of the battlefield. Perfect for harassing ranged units and swooping in for the kill when enemies are most vulnerable.
