Product Description:

The Desolation Drones are some of the most feared troops the Spires can deploy, despite their humble origins. Originally disposable spawning pool disinfectants, these creatures were repurposed by an enterprising Biomancer, who realized the potential of the digestive liquids the Drones released on the battlefield. The quick thinking Biomancer’s promotion granted him the resources to modify the Drones’ weaponry, turning them into an effective means of biological warfare.

Though their weapon range leaves something to be desired, the base trooper design remains efficient, allowing for the rapid production of replacements for any losses. This efficiency is key to their success, making them a reliable and cost-effective unit in the Spires' arsenal.

How the Desolation Drones Play:

While their origin as cleaning tools may seem unassuming, the Desolation Drones have become a mighty weapon. Their role on the battlefield is to suppress enemy formations, allowing other Spires forces to focus their attacks elsewhere. Their powerful reprocessing agents force enemy regiments to drop their defenses, leaving them vulnerable to further attacks.

The armor-piercing nature of their weapons ensures that very little is left after each salvo, making the Desolation Drones a key asset in breaking through enemy lines. These drones may be humble in origin, but in the hands of the Spires, they are devastatingly effective at weakening the enemy’s defenses.
