Product Description:

The Jarl is a respected leader in Nord society, but the title itself doesn’t always convey the true scope of a leader's power. While some Jarls command large, prosperous communities with abundant resources, others may rule over much smaller territories, with fewer subjects and resources. The southern Jarls may have access to larger numbers of raiders and warriors due to the bounty of the sea, while northern Jarls command small, elite forces skilled in hunting and surviving in harsh conditions.

Despite the differences in their resources, all Jarls are tacticians and masters of raiding, able to inspire fierce loyalty and drive their forces to dominate the battlefield. Some Jarls gain additional prestige and status by controlling ships and using their naval power to command warriors who raid year-round, further building their reputation and securing their place in Nord society.

How They Play:

The Jarl excels at aggressive tactics and commanding a versatile army. Leading from the front, they bring a powerful mix of human infantry, brutes, and mighty Jotnars to the battlefield, making them essential for any Nord army list. The Jarl ensures that your forces have a strong early presence, able to strike quickly and overwhelm enemies before they can organize a proper defense. Their ability to lead and bolster the effectiveness of their troops allows for a well-rounded, aggressive warband, perfect for raiding and tactical supremacy in combat.
