Roster: 400 Points

Legendary Legions are allowed

Heroes of Legend are banned

Uruk-Hai Demolition Teams are capped to 1 per army
-
Tom Bombadill is banned
-
War Machines are capped to 2 per army

Players are strongly encouraged to take fun and balanced lists, or use quirky units they might not normally use; this creates a more positive play experience for everyone and is more likely to earn you points for being a good sportsman from your opponents.

This is not the sort of event where min-maxing and meta lists are rewarded.

Attendees are expected to bring all the models they need, dice, measuring implements, tokens and any relevant publications, such as the MESBG rulebook.

Terrain will be provided by the store.

Event Plan:

Doors Open: 9:00am

Round 1 - 9:15 till 10:45
-
Round 2 - 10:45 till 12:15
-
Lunch 12:15 till 12:45
-
Round 3 - 12:45 till 2:15
-
Round 4 - 2:15 till 3:45
-
Round 5 3:45 till 5:15
-
Awards 5:15 till 5:30
-
Doors close at 6

At the start of all rounds, missions will be announced by the tournament organiser and shared with all players.

Matchups and Gameplay Scoring

Matchups in the 1st Round will be randomly drawn.
-
Matches in the following rounds will be drawn based on the Swiss System, in which each player is drawn against the player with the closest game record to their own.

Scoring will be done based on the following points system.

Win: 5pts.
-
Draw: 2pts
-
Loss: 0pts.

Tiebreakers will be administered based on the following:

Tournament Score

Head to Head Result
-
Total In-Game Points Scored
-
Coin Toss.

Model Requirements
-
Tabletop Standard: Models are required to be painted to ‘tabletop standard’ - defined as having three distinct colours visible on each model.

Conversions: Conversions are welcome, as long as at the start of the game and when your opponent asks it is clearly explained what and who they represent in your army.
