The Cryptic Carnival! - Warhammer 40,000: Saturday 25th May 2024
Welcome back, one and all, for the latest iteration of our 'Cryptic Carnival' series of Warhammer 40k tournaments. Coming back to the cabin on the 25th May
In these we celebrate the whole hobby, not just the ability to win; points are available for winning games, as well as excellent paintjobs, amazing conversions and being the best sport. After all, the hobby doesn't begin when you start rolling dice - and today we celebrate that; the event champion will be the player who scores the best across all categories!
The event uses 'Matched Play' rules for gameplay balance, though especially cheesy or 'meta' lists are discouraged and fun, silly lists are very much encouraged!

Players must sign up via Best Coast Pairings at the above link when they buy a ticket; creating an account is straightforward, and upon signup you will be able to upload your list in text format.

- Doors Open: 9:00am
- Mission Briefing and Event Introduction: 9:15. Players must arrive by this point.
- Round 1: 9:30am-12:00pm:
- Primary - Purge the Foe
- Mission Rule - Sweep and Clear
- Lunch: 12:00pm-12:45pm
- Round 2:12:45pm-3:15pm:
- Primary - Take and hold
- Mission Rule - Hidden Supplies
- Break: 3:15pm-3:30pm
- Round 3: 3:30pm-6:00pm:
- Primary - Take and Hold
- Mission Rule - Chilling Rain
