Product Description:

The Centaur Kerykes are a select group of warriors from the Old Dominion, chosen for their piety and their ability to withstand the horrors of battle. Originally, the Centaurs were too primitive to fully integrate into human society, relegated to roles as Prodromoi or scouts. However, the most devout of them ascended to the role of Kerykes, or Heralds, elite messengers of the gods, tasked with delivering divine messages even amidst the chaos of battle. Their unique training allows them to perform critical communication duties for the Pantheon, bridging the divine and mortal realms on the battlefield.

How They Play:

The Centaur Kerykes add an important ranged element to the Old Dominion army. Their ability to fire over difficult terrain makes them incredibly versatile, allowing them to bypass obstacles and maintain consistent ranged support. While their volley stats are average, their attacks cause additional damage on contact, making them a powerful tool for inflicting consistent harm on enemy units. Their mobility and ranged capability make them ideal for disrupting enemy lines, supporting the Old Dominion’s core forces, and securing key objectives from a distance.
